Sickle Fern, Pellaea falcata, is a small fern with sparse fronds. At Manna Park it occurs along the gully floors and banks. The developing fronds are not rolled like many other ferns.

Sickle Fern is common in wet areas of forests and rainforests along the east coast of Australia. The example shown here were photographed along the XC mountain bike track just to the west of Manna Park hostel.
