Bordered Panic, Entolasia marginata, is a grass in the Poaceae Family. It was formerly called Panicum marginatum.
Bordered Panic grows as a straggling or shrubby wiry rhizomatous perennial, usually to 0.8m high, but to 2m high when straggling through undergrowth.
The panicle (seed head) is characteristic, with a dense linear arrangement, 4-20cm long with branches 0.2 – 1.5m long.
Bordered Panic grows in scrub, in slightly damper areas on sandy or sandstone-derived soils. At Manna Park it is found on the eastern side of tank T11, in isolated clumps.
