The Common Maidenhair Fern, Adiantum aethiopicum, grows on the forest floor in shady areas, typically on a creek bank. This example was photographed near the clothesline, west of the Manna Park Hostel, at map coordinates 58 311, 19 183 (T.Hastings 18/8/2009).
