Shiny Cassinia, Cassinia longifolia, has leaves that are upto 9cm long which are shiny green above with soft whitish cottony hairs beneath.

The flowers form dense white clusters, a bit like cauliflower. The clusters are almost flat across the top, and are eaten by parrots.

Shiny Cassinia is widespread in forests along the coast of south-eastern Australia. At Manna Park they occur near gully floors, such as adjacent to Bridge 2 on the XC Track.
