The Toothed Daisy Bush is named after the tooth-like shapes around the edges of its leaves, and white daisy-type flowers. It’s latin name is after Adam Olearius (Johann Gottfried Oelschlaeger) a 17th century botanist, and tomentose refers to the dense hairs on the underside of the leaves. The Toothed Daisy Bush occurs in forests along the coastal aras of south-eastern Australia. This example was photographed on the side of the fire trail near Ford Creek, at map coordinates 58 230, 18 800.
