This Breynia, Breynia oblongifolia, was found growing along side gully near start of mountain bike track at map coordinates 58 490, 19 352. It occurs in near-coastal forests on sheltered slopes north of Eden. The flowers and berries attract birds and butteflies. It produces berries which are orange or pink, then turn black when fully ripe. They are not edible or useful for making drinks, but look similar to the bush which makes drinkable Coffee, Coffea Arabica. Click on any of the photographs to download a higher resolution image (T.
