Ivy-leaved Violet, Viola hederacea, is a small groundcover flower, which occurs in wet areas in south-eastern Australia. The flowers emerge on stalks in spring and summer. Various subspecies occur in different regions, and can be distinguished by the height of the flower stalk.

The leaves tend to be larger with margins curving behind the stalk in sheltered, wetter sites, or smaller and more semi-circular at exposed sites (Thiele & Prober, 2006)

The examples shown here were found along the firetrail, south of Manna Park Hostel.
