There are several varieties of Mountain Correa, which have slightly different leaf shapes and are found in different geographic regions. Correa lawrenceana var latrobeana is the sub-species found at Manna Park.

Mountain Correa flowers attract Spinebills and Rosellas. The Spinebills carefully insert their long beaks to access the nectar, while Rosellas do this by ripping the flower apart.

All plants in the Rutaceae family have tiny oil glands on their leaves, which are seen as dots in the microscope picture, bottom right.

Mountain Correa can be found throughout the forest at Manna Park, in the garden next to the swimming pool, and also near the rainforest at Mandeni.
