The Bark Huntsman Spider, Pediana regina, is camouflaged for hunting on tree-trunks. They build nest of eggs under bark, such as at the base of a Mountain Grey Gum, Eucalyptus cypellocarpa.
They are attracted to light, and the individual photographed here was found on the ground underneath a light at night.
