There are over 140 different species of native birds that have been sighted at Mandeni Park by the Birdwatchers group, we have given each one a separate page on our website. Where we do not yet have our own picture we have used one from Wikipedia, but we would be delighted to use any good picture you can send us of such birds taken at either Mandeni or Manna Park – “Mandeni Park”. Where we have more than one good picture we have added them to the thumbnail gallery.

EMPTY means that we have no Wikipedia thumbnail or text, and we desperately need your help.

It is not recommended to feed native birds because they become used to handouts that may dry up at certain times of the year and because they may swap diseases at feeding stations. However, you may find them irresistible.

We are trying to add local snippets that you may find interesting, we are not attempting to create a website to help you identify birds, this is best done with a field guide, we just want to help you enjoy them and a little knowledge often helps.
