At the time of writing (March 2009) pairs of “Gang-gangs” are using Salah’s bird bath at Manna Park nearly every day. They sit in the nearby Woollybutt and glide down to drink when nobody is evident. Various pairs can be seen within the one tree at Manna Park.

This is the only bird we cannot band at Mandeni because its beak is so strong it can break the small stainless steel band that fits its small legs.
